“In 2021, after researching Electric Vehicle charging systems and consulting with six electrical contractors, Edwards Electric was consulted and their knowledge of EVSE and pricing was far superior.  Infrastructure and 15 charging stations were installed that time.  In 2024, we had 5 more owners who wished to have chargers installed (total of 6 chargers).  Mr. Edwards, Lee MacFarlane, Craig Bruvold and Kathleen Westlake of Edwards Electric have been extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the process of working with the equipment supply company, installation and initialization, as well as assisting owners to navigate rebates through the BC Hydro EV charger incentive program. Our strata is comprised of a 7 storey tower with 32 parkade parking stalls and 5 townhomes.  In 2021, Edwards was able to come up with a power management solution that only requires 200amps running off our 1200amp main panel which preserves plenty of power for future projects.  This system provides an electrical connection at every parking stall for installation of a Level 2 charger.

Throughout the 2021 project, the Edwards Electric installation team did an outstanding job.  All personnel were very polite and friendly.  The quality of the materials and workmanship was top notch, and quite meticulously installed.  One of our neighbours, a retired electrical engineer, reviewed the project once completed and was very impressed with all aspects of the project.  The additional 2024 installation was the same experience.  Again, Lee and Craig guided us through all key elements of the installation with patience and are very knowledgeable.  This is a very friendly and responsive company to work with.

Our 29-owner development now has 21 chargers and all EV owners are very pleased with the operation of the system, as well as the responsiveness of Edwards Electric to any of their inquires. Thanks to Mr. Edwards, Lee, Craig, Kathleen, and the entire Edwards Electric team for another excellent installation project, with expansion of our EVSE system.”
